5 Things I am Thankful for...
1. The idea that my handsome boyfriend is now my fiancé!
2. That I have a very good job that allows me to volunteer my off time to work with Beauty Arise and not have to worry about money.
3. My Family (Biological and work)!!
4. The Incredible Beauty that surrounds me in the state of Alaska!
5. But Most of All how much my King loves me <3
The list could go on and on but recently these are things I have been so grateful for most!!

Okay, so God totally led me to your blog. I've always asked how I can combine my passion as well as serving Him. And when I read that you are a makeup artist, working with your passion but at the same time serving God, I literally screamed. I came across the awesome ministry Beauty Arise, where I found your blog. I'm a selftaught makeup artist, I'm actually going to beauty school this spring.. Since DTS I have gotten a huge heart for ministry, and to share Gods love and confidence to people, and especially girls! Sorry for spamming your blog, I couldn't find you email anywhere. I would love to hear if you have any advise or wisdom to share!

I am so so so sorry I missed this. That is so exciting that you are going to beauty school. Beauty Arise is amazing. I love the ministry so much and it is incredible how God has used it. I love that you have a heart for ministry to girls. My biggest piece of advice is have a strong foundation and a good group of Godly friends and mentors. The fashion and beauty industry can be brutally. I don't understand how people can survive in it without Jesus. The coolest thing about being a make up artist is that, like a hair dresser, I feel like people open up to you. Right now I am doing carnival airbrush make up mainly and even in that people want to talk.
